Faisa Ahmed is the former Deputy Campaign Manager for the Harris-Walz presidential campaign and leads strategic communications, grassroots organizing, and coalition-building efforts as Director of Arc North Star. Before joining the Harris-Walz team, Faisa served as Communications Director for Attorney General Keith Ellison’s successful 2022 reelection campaign, helping to secure victory in a competitive media environment.
Born and raised in Minneapolis, Faisa has a long history of leadership and service in Minnesota politics, including serving as President of the UMN College Democrats during her time at the University of Minnesota. Her previous roles include managing Kate Knuth’s campaign for Minneapolis Mayor, coordinating youth outreach for Senator Tina Smith’s reelection, and supporting Mitra Jalali’s city council campaign.
Known for her creative and results-driven approach, Faisa excels at crafting narratives that resonate and mobilize. She remains deeply committed to advancing progressive values and empowering marginalized communities.
