Hannah is an Associate at Arc Initiatives, where she specializes in climate, environment, and public health advocacy communications. She has planned and executed media events and briefings featuring state leaders, CEOs, leading experts, and Members of Congress on complex scientific, legal, and policy topics into messaging that’s more accessible to public audiences.
Hannah has cultivated strong relationships with reporters in DC and across Western states. She has secured mentions and generated coverage for public lands and conservation advocates in The New York Times, POLITICO, Chicago Tribune, Santa Fe New Mexican, Salt Lake Tribune, Deseret News, and other national, state, and local outlets. She pitched and landed exclusive coverage on outdoor industry leaders’ advocacy against the Trump administration’s push to pare back national monuments in Utah.
Before joining Arc, Hannah worked at the Red Cross Red Crescent Climate Centre where her research on global disaster management legislation and financing helped strengthen heat wave preparedness policies in Bangladesh, Colombia, Vietnam, Myanmar, and Nepal.
Hannah holds a degree in Environmental Studies from Brown University, with concentrations in Environment & Inequality, International Affairs, and Applied Math. A native of rural Northern Nevada near Lake Tahoe, she is an avid paddleboarder, self-proclaimed coffee connoisseur, and devoted plant lover who enjoys live music and thrifting.
