Syd is a Communications Fellow who supports the political team in driving electoral and advocacy campaigns. As a passionate storyteller, Syd is committed to using her skills and energy to help create a more sustainable and equitable future.
Previously, Syd worked on communications and programs for the Community Climate Collaborative (C3), a nonprofit leading climate action at the local level, where she assisted in launching the inaugural cohort of the Green Business Alliance.
Syd earned a double B.A. in Foreign Affairs and Global Environments + Sustainability from the University of Virginia. Having grown up in the Washington metropolitan area, Syd is excited to be back in D.C. working in political and advocacy spaces. In her freetime, Syd enjoys playing ultimate frisbee, reading, and singing.
