Lauren Lantry
Senior Director
Pronouns: she/her
Lauren is a public affairs and communications strategist with experience helping nonprofit organizations push back against anti-environmental corporations and public officials like Toyota, former EPA Administrator Scott Pruitt, and former President Donald Trump. Most recently Lauren was the deputy campaign director for the Auto Accountability Campaign at the Partnership Project. Her work at the auto accountability campaign helped change the narrative around Toyota, with its CEO leaving after being called out for stalling the company’s transition to electric vehicles. Prior to this, Lauren served as communications director at the Climate Action Campaign and as a press secretary for Sierra Club’s Clean Transportation, Resist, Mass Mobilization, and Gender Equity and Environment campaigns.
Lauren is from San Diego but currently resides in Washington, DC with her elderly tiny tan dog, Edith. In her spare time, she obsessively watches Survivor (has never missed an episode) and takes Edith on hikes through Rock Creek Park.
