Calvin works with Jonae Wartel at Arc Initiatives to drive the expansion of products impacting/elevating democracy. Calvin recognizes the critical importance of advancing initiatives to foster democracy via the work of Arc Initiatives.
Previously, Calvin worked on tech and democracy projects for the National Democratic Institute, a nonprofit, nonpartisan organization working to support and strengthen democratic institutions globally. At NDI he focused on information integrity issues such as online political violence against women in politics, and hate speech, platform accountability just to name a few.
Calvin holds a B.S. in Computer Applications from the University of Maine- Fort Kent, and a Masters in Global Policy from the University of Maine- Orono. Passionate about democracy, civil organizations, and public affairs, Calvin is enthusiastic to directly contribute to democracy initiatives. In his free time, Calvin appreciates learning new things, reading, and photography/film.
