Nick Miner has worked for more than a decade on political and environmental campaigns across the country. At Arc Initiatives, Nick recently successfully led the legislative campaign to plug and remediate orphan wells and helped pass the REGROW Act – which allocated $4.7B to orphan wells. Prior to working at Arc Initiatives, Nick worked at American Forests where he led coalition efforts to secure increased funding for urban forests as well as spearheaded the REPLANT Act – which was passed in 2021 and adds hundreds of millions of dollars to reforestation efforts across the country. Previously, he worked at The Wilderness Society where he helped manage the Land and Water Conservation Fund Coalition and helped secure permanent authority and dedicate full funding for the LWCF. Throughout his career, Nick has worked extensively in managing complex coalitions, political and grassroots advocacy, legislative campaigns, and campaign strategy. He lives in Washington, D.C. with his wife and son.
